Meet Dr. Dean

Dr. Rachel Dean is a board-certified dermatologist and Institute for Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner.

She is an avid reader of dermatology and functional medicine literature. She has been a member of numerous professional organizations, including the Dermatology Foundation, the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Louisiana Dermatologic Society and Women in Dermatology. She remains an active participant in the American Academy of Dermatology, Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society, the National Psoriasis Foundation and the Institute for Functional Medicine.

Dr. Dean practices comprehensive dermatologic care, including complex medical dermatology (psoriasis and connective tissue disease), skin cancer detection and prevention, and cosmetic dermatology focused on maintaining natural aesthetic outcomes. She treats patients of all ages and integrates functional lifestyle medicine to identify and address underlying causes of disease.
