Meet Cydnie Plaisance, FNP-C

Cydnie Plaisance is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Her education began at Louisiana State University at Alexandria (LSUA) where she graduated with an Associate of Science in Nursing in 2015. After obtaining her associate’s degree she began working as a nurse in the surgical intensive care unit (SICU) at Rapides Regional Medical Center where she continued to work for 4 years. While working, Cydnie continued her education at LSUA in order to obtain a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2016 and a Master of Science in Nursing from Northwestern State University in 2019. After completing her formal education, she spent two years caring for patients under the supervision of a cardiovascular surgeon in Alexandria, Louisiana. In 2021, Cydnie began her career as a Nurse Practitioner in dermatology through extensive hands-on training by board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Rachel Dean. She works side-by-side with Dr. Dean and PA, Amy Suter at Dean Derm where she continues to practice excellent patient care under the supervision of Dr. Dean. She has completed her course work towards becoming a Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner and plans to receive her certification in 2022. She is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Cydnie and her husband, Peyton, along with their son reside in Pollock, Louisiana.
